We feature a number of special programs in Education that may fit your needs and career goals. Many of them are conveniently located throughout Eastern Massachusetts, from Lawrence to Cape Cod.
Field-Based M.Ed. Program
A non-licensure master of education degree program for experienced professionals, in collaboration with the Northeast Consortium for Professional Development (25 current students).

Grant Projects
Off-Campus Programs
- Boston Public Schools Reading Program
This program enrolls a cohort of Boston reading teachers on waivers in the courses and pre-practicum and practicum experiences required of our regular reading licensure program. Courses are held at Boston Public School sites.
- Lowell Partnership
For early childhood paraprofessionals and child care workers in collaboration with Lowell Community Partnerships, Lowell Public Schools and Middlesex Community College, to offer nontraditionally scheduled onsite SSC courses and advising toward the completion of B.S. in Ed: Early Childhood degrees (55 students).

- M.Ed. Cape Cod Cohorts
- The Institute for Leadership Education (T.I.L.E.)
Three "grow-your-own" principal programs in collaboration with regional school systems, including Salem, Danvers and Beverly Public Schools and districts in the Merrimack Valley and on Cape Cod, offering onsite, nontraditionally scheduled courses toward principal licensure and follow-up “critical friends” support.
SEEM Collaborative
Offering M.Ed. graduate licensure in special education in the form of onsite, nontraditionally scheduled courses in collaboration with the SEEM Special Education Collaborative (30 students each year).
