Clinical
Many master's degree programs leading to professional licensure require a 400 hour clinical experience in the role of the license. Typically, clinical experiences are reserved for experienced practitioners who use their worksite as a laboratory to experiment with and reflect on their practice based on what they have learned during the course of their graduate program. In a clinical experience, an individual might be asked to carry out an "action research" project, experiment with a new strategy, or hone knowledge and skills within a particular area within the professional field. Clinical experiences are supported by faculty supervisors and seminars.
Please consult with your program coordinator for forms specific to your licensure program.
