Amplifying Student Voices: Addressing Bias at SSU

Apr 15
A Student Panel on Addressing Bias and Creating Welcoming Spaces
Amplify student voices

In these complicated times, effective communication is critical across our communities. Join us for an evening of cross-campus dialogue. We’ll begin with a panel of SSU students who will share their experiences on campus, what a “welcoming environment” means to them, and their insights on best practices for effectively handling moments of campus bias and conflict.

Afterwards, faculty and staff will engage in small group discussions on the feedback and stories shared, and what it might mean for our work. Faculty and staff are encouraged to attend this interactive, student-centered event.
