Speaker: Michael Evans ‘76, former Chief Counsel, U.S. Senate Finance Committee


As chief counsel for the U.S. Senate Finance Committee, Professor Evans worked to win passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, which some have heralded as the most significant climate legislation in U.S. history. As an attorney, Professor Evans has worked to implement the new law. He will share his experiences and insights about the promise and reality of the Inflation Reduction Act for addressing climate change.
