Don’t miss this electrifying night of dance, music, and community spirit! Whether you’re competing or cheering, it’s going to be UNFORGETTABLE!  The Battle will feature top dancers from the area and Salem State with room for guest battlers from the audience. Get there at the start to enter your name for one of the open battle slots. 

4:30-5 pm - mingling, music and refreshments

5 pm - Welcome and Opening Ceremony 

5:45  - Preliminary Battle Rounds

6:45 - Judges Showcase

7 pm - Top 6 Battles

7:40 - Final Battles of Top 3

DJ Will B  (Pop star Pitbull’s DJ)  will be spinning the hottest tracks to keep the energy high!

Jarell Howard Rochelle, professor of dance at Salem State will emcee. He is known for his appearances  on So You Think You Can Dance, and stamped as a hip-hop "popping legend" from Alief, Texas.

JUDGES

JoJo Caidor - Hip Hop Dance faculty at Salem State University, director of the Salem State Hip Hop Dance Ensemble and AFMOHIP,  a hip hop, African, and modern company.

LandMine -  World of Dance Boston Champion for 2018. Red Bull Dance Your Style Top 16 contestant and a community educator

Luis Davila - Competitor/performer at various events and competitions such as Puma, Clarks, Telemundo, Hasbro, Hip Hop International, World of dance, CoNNect, and Prelude.  Boston Celtics Dancer.
