Students in the Exploratory Program (students who are undeclared/ haven't decided on a major) are required to meet with a Peer Leader before they attend an advising meeting with their faculty advisor.
Why?
Each advising session is not long enough for a faculty advisor to show a student how to use Navigator and look for class options. The advisor will expect that the student comes to the session with a list of classes they want to take for the spring semester. Students can see who their assigned peer leader is when they login to Canvas. Check out the four dates below:

If students are unable to make one of these sessions, they can connect with their assigned peer leader to schedule a one-on-one session to cover the material. Email exploratory@salemstate.edu with any questions.
