Exploratory Program: Pre-Advising Preparation Sessions

Students in the Exploratory Program (students who are undeclared/ haven't decided on a major) are required to meet with a Peer Leader before they attend an advising meeting with their faculty advisor. 

Why?

Each advising session is not long enough for a faculty advisor to show a student how to use Navigator and look for class options. The advisor will expect that the student comes to the session with a list of classes they want to take for the spring semester. Students can see who their assigned peer leader here. Check out the dates below:

If students are unable to make one of these sessions, they can connect with their assigned peer leader to schedule a one-on-one session to cover the material. Email exploratory@salemstate.edu with any questions.
