Grad Student Writing Workshop

This workshop will emphasize the importance of following a process when completing graduate school writing tasks. Presenters will discuss the stages of the writing process, including reading, researching sources, planning, drafting, revising, and editing; they will also provide examples of writing genres and helpful suggestions for meeting genre requirements.

Then, to ensure graduate students' needs are met, participants will be asked to provide their writing resource needs and any concerns they may have about writing in graduate school. Finally, presenters will introduce plans for ongoing meetings to work through and support graduate school writing projects.
