Hip Hop Dance Workshop with Bboy El Niño

Jan 31
Intergenerational Hip Hop Dance Symposium January 30-February 1

The second workshop of the 2025 symposium will be led by Alexander “Bboy El Niño” Diaz. All are welcome to participate!

Bboy El Niño is a world champion B-boy (breakdancer) with over 25 years of experience, and has taught, competed, and judged competitions worldwide. Bboy El Niño has appeared in films such as Step Up 3D and In the Heights and has performed and toured with artists such as Missy Elliot, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent & Run DMC. El Niño's style and accomplishments gave him the opportunity to join an elite group of athletes representing energy drink brand Red Bull. In 2022 he also became a member of Team USA representing the US as an Olympic hopeful for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. His vision is to continue prospering in this element while simultaneously giving back to the next generation. Despite his success, focusing on teaching and mentoring inner city youth keeps him grounded.
