New Campus Trees Lunch and Learn

Learn about Salem State's new landscape features in this second of three sustainable landscape events. Need to stretch your legs? Join the tree huggers on campus to learn about the more than 50 new trees that have been recently planted. On Thursday, August 8th from 12:00 - 12:40, join Geography and Sustainability Professor Nicholas Geron and Sustainability Coordinator Tara Gallagher starting at the Bluebike Hub near the Stanley Building. Learn about the DCR urban tree planting program, why urban trees are so important in Environmental Justice areas, and how we are integrating the new trees into courses.
