Because we know that the time before the semester begins can be very busy, Academic Affairs and SSU's Center for Teaching Innovation are offering virtual orientation sessions for new faculty. You can choose from one of three options:
- Monday, August 21, 4-6 pm (EST)
- Wednesday, August 23, 9-11 am (EST)
- Monday, August 28, 4-6 pm (EST)
Register for a session (required). We will contact you via the email address provided on the registration form with Zoom links and additional details. We will also send you Zoom links to all three options in the event that your schedule changes between now and the end of August.
We are also offering an in-person New Faculty Orientation on Thursday, August 31 from 8:30 am-12 pm at the Frederick E. Berry Library and Learning Commons (Classroom 214). Lunch will follow the orientation in Marsh Hall. Register for this session (required).
