Nomination Period for the Commonwealth Performance Recognition Program

Please note that this event has already occurred.
This is a multiday event, from May 01, 2024 - May 31, 2024

The Annual Performance Recognition Program is an opportunity to formally recognize and acknowledge Commonwealth employees for their extraordinary contributions to public service. The Commonwealth’s 40th Performance Recognition Program nomination period is open from May 1 – May 31, 2024.

Know someone on campus who should be recognized for their outstanding service? The most common award is the Commonwealth Certificate of Achievement. To be eligible, the benefited employee you are nominating must have worked at SSU for a minimum of two years prior to January 1, 2024. Alternatively, you can nominate a team/group of benefited employees and the 2-year employment rule is waived. This year, the Commonwealth is increasing the number of certificates SSU can distribute. For the first time, we can award up to 5% of our FTE headcount so be sure to nominate this month!

To learn more about the program and access the nomination form, please visit the Commonwealth’s Performance Recognition Program website.

From there, you can also learn about the statewide leadership awards: Manuel Carballo Governor’s Award for Excellence in Public Service, Governor Paul Cellucci Award for Leadership & Mentoring in State Government, Eugene H. Rooney, Jr. Public Service Award and the Commonwealth Equity in Governance Award.
