Please join us Wednesday, November 8, from 5:30-7:30 pm for an evening of food, networking, and learning from local advocates invested in ensuring food access for college and university students. Leaders will share with us information about their work, provide insight on the current issues impacting our community, policies that would eliminate barriers, and share their current advocacy efforts. They will also provide feedback on how students can be effective advocates for this important social issue.
Guest advocates include
Kate Adams, Policy Manager at the Greater Boston Food Bank
Andres X Vargas, Representative of the 3rd Essex District
Kathleen O'Neil, Director of the Single Stop Program at Bunker Hill Community College
Fred Norton, Food Acquisition and Distribution Manager at the Salem Pantry
This event is only accepting 40 guests. Please register today as space is limited. The dinner will be held on Central Campus in Viking Meeting Hall 123.
