Viking Family and Parents Weekend

Join the campus community on Saturday, October 21 for fun and festivities with Viking family and friends!

Featuring:

• Superfan Brunch: Marsh Dining Hall, 10 am
  (Free for the first 100 guests)
   
• Downtown Salem Shuttle: Explore Salem in October with no need to park; shuttles from O'Keefe Sports Complex parking lot (pick up is on the Forest Avenue side, between the entrances to the parking lot) 10 am-8 pm 
   
• First Year Family Brunch: North Campus Cafe, 11 am
  New students and families are invited to a special reception as we proudly welcome the newest members of the Salem State community. Brunch is free for family members. Students should bring their ClipperCard with them for this meal. Please register to attend.
   
• Salem State Bookstore Open: Harrington (Central) Campus, 11 am-3 pm
   
• Women’s Field Hockey v. Westfield State: Alumni Field, O’Keefe Sports Complex, 11 am
   
• Word Art: Viking Hall Starbucks Café, 12-4 pm
  Spell out a word or your name to make a framed photo keepsake 
   
• Miniature Golf: Marsh Hall Quad 12-4 pm, rain location is in Cafe in Academic Building (Bertolon School of Business).
   
• Men’s Ice Hockey v. Salve Regina (Exhibition): Rockett Arena, O’Keefe Sports Complex, 1 pm
   
• Women’s Soccer v. Worcester State: Alumni Field, O’Keefe Sports Complex, 2 pm
   
• Women’s Ice Hockey v. Curry (Exhibition): Rockett Arena, O’Keefe Sports Complex, 4 pm
   
• The Ghost Sonata: A limited number of complimentary tickets to the play are available for adult family members, Sophia Gordon Mainstage, 7:30 pm. Email family@salemstate.edu by Tuesday, October 17 to reserve your complimentary tickets.
