Associate registrar named president elect of NEACRAO

Bryan Boppert, associate director of the Salem State University Student Navigation Center, was recently named president elect of the New England Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (NEACRAO). In this capacity he will assist the current president, ensure that all vice presidents and committee chairs are on task and help plan and prepare the group’s annual conference in November 4-6 in Newport, Rhode Island, and its summer conference in 2016. Additionally, he will promote NEACRAO’s scholarship program.

NEACRAO promotes the advancement of education—in particular higher education—and the professional enhancement of administrative areas of higher education pertaining to admissions, records, registration, and closely related functions such as financial aid and institutional research, among institutions of higher learning. Boppert’s three-year term includes a year as president elect, a year as president and a year as immediate past president.
