How to champion Latinx college students in Massachusetts

This week, The Boston Globe highlighted Salem State in an article emphasizing the critical importance of effectively serving Hispanic students in higher education.

"Salem State is on the cusp of becoming the first four-year public state university to earn the designation. Hispanic enrollment is currently at 23 percent," President John Keenan shared with the Globe. 

The sold-out Hispanic and Minority Serving Institution Conference, scheduled for July 17-18 at Salem State, will include sessions focusing on financial aid, strategies for engaging with Latino and other underrepresented families, and gaining insights into the Latino community's presence in New England.
