Center for Teaching Innovation goes to POD

Deborah Melnick, Faculty Associate for Teaching Support of Part-Time Faculty, and Marc Boots-Ebenfield, Director of the Center for Teaching Innovation, presented at this year's POD Network International Conference held recently in San Francisco. The duo's round table discussion, titled Reflecting on the Needs of Contingent Faculty presented attendees with an overview of the work being done here at Salem State to create meaningful faculty development and support systems designed to meet the needs of adjunct faculty and lead participants to generate a better understanding of the needs at their own colleges and universities as well as to develop plans of action to meet those needs.
