Communications Professor Peggy Dillon Discusses Media Advocacy at Tufts University Veterinary School

Associate Professor Peggy Dillon was a guest lecturer on January 26 at the policy communication class for MS students in the Animals and Public Policy Program at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in North Grafton.

Professor Dillon discussed journalists’ perspectives about important elements of constructing an article and evaluating opinion pieces, and talked about how the students could learn how to work with journalists, submit articles to newspapers and other media outlets, and become effective media advocates for their policy issues.
