Dillon and Vincent Selected as Kopenhaver Fellows

Professors Peggy Dillon and Cindy Vincent have been selected as Kopenhaver Center Fellows for the Lillian Lodge Kopenhaver Center for the Advancement of Women. The center’s mission is to empower women scholars and professionals in the field of communications in order to develop leaders in the academy, industry and the community. Dillon and Vincent participated in a Kopenhaver Fellows workshop titled “Finding Your Leadership Voice in the Academy” at this year’s annual conference of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), held in Montreal, Canada. They and other Kopenhaver Center Fellows were selected through an application process that included more than 1,000 AEJMC member institutions.
