Elspeth Slayter of the School of Social Work awarded a grant from the Eurasia Foundation

Elspeth Slayter of the School of Social Work has been awarded a grant from the Eurasia Foundation to consult with Russian child welfare authorities in Moscow about best practices in the support and treatment of youth with disabilities in the child welfare system. Her work will be part of the Foundation's U.S.-Russia Social Expertise Exchange (SEE) is a diverse network of Russian and U.S. civil society experts and social entrepreneurs engaged in a meaningful exchange of ideas and best practices to produce positive change in the lives of citizens in both countries.
