Prior to the advising period for fall 2024 (which begins Monday, March 18) the academic advising office will host advising workshops to provide faculty with helpful information for the advising/registration period. Below you will find the dates and times available for drop-ins-no registration is required.
General Advising Workshops
A brief review of the general education requirements, Degree Tracker, competency requirements, class search and advanced features, double dipping, and hands-on work.
- Wednesday, March 6: 9:30-10:30 am (Zoom)
- Tuesday, March 19: 12 pm-1 pm (Zoom)
- Wednesday March 20: 11 am-12 pm (In-Person)
- Thursday, March 21: 9:30-10:30 am (Zoom)
Academic Standing Workshops
A brief review of academic standing, what constitutes negative academic standing and its impacts, repeating courses, how to advise students in negative and good standing and what steps to take for improvement.
