Professor Anna Rocca (World Languages and Cultures) has been invited to participate in a virtual afternoon research symposium in the United Kingdom exploring issues around photography and resistance, from a feminist lens.
The event has been organized by the Four Corners gallery in East London. Professor Rocca was in conversation with Senior Lecturer, photographer, and writer Dora Carpenter-Latiri about her exhibition on Tunisian women, entitled Tunisian Women of the Book, by analogy with the Arab-Islamic expression ‘People of the Book’ that refers to the three revealed religions.
