The city of Salem recently announced that it will host a regional vaccination site at Salem State University’s O’Keefe Center.
Massachusetts residents who are not current SSU students, faculty or staff are welcome to schedule a vaccine appointment here.
We are also reserving vaccine appointments exclusively for Salem State students, faculty and staff to make getting vaccinated as easy and accessible as possible for you. If you have not received your COVID-19 vaccine already, we encourage you to sign up for your vaccine appointment.
Further details about the vaccination clinic are available from the city of Salem.
The O’Keefe vaccination center will provide the Pfizer vaccine and will be scheduling individuals to return in three weeks to receive the second dose, which is required to be considered fully vaccinated. Students should remember to take a picture of their vaccination card and upload it into the health portal for proof of vaccination.
As we announced late last month, all Massachusetts state universities are requiring students to be fully vaccinated before returning to campus for the fall 2021 semester, and we expect that faculty and staff will become vaccinated as well. Learn more about this important requirement.
Thank you for all you have done and continue to do to keep our community safe as we work to bring an end to this pandemic.
