GLS Hosts a Seminar on Metal Mobility in Waste Piles in Historical Mines

The SSU Department of Geological Sciences is happy to host Dr. Dan Brabander from Wellesley College as part of its seminar series. Dr Brabander, an environmental geochemist whose current research is at the intersection of environmental health and medical geosciences, will deliver a talk titled "Historic Mine Waste Piles Undergoing Reprocessing and Removal: Times of Increased Legacy Metal Mobility". 

This talk will be on Monday, November 18 from 12-1 pm in Meier Hall #338.
