Health and Human Services Interprofessional Event Series

Join us this spring for the Maguire Meservey College of Health and Human Services Interprofessional Event Series!

All students from the MMCHHS and other departments outside of the college have the unique opportunity of participating in IPE learning events throughout their time at Salem State. These events include in-person case-base experiences and case simulations, interprofessional clinical experiences and virtual expert community panels which focus on health disparities, public health programming and policy. 

All events will take place via Zoom.

Operation House Call

Maura Sullivan, Chief Executive Officer, The Arc of Massachusetts, Director of Operation House Call

Teaches students in medical, nursing, and allied health professional schools the essential skills and mindsets to enhance the health care of persons with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). OHC turns to families, parents and individual self-advocates as educators in a health care field that seldom focuses on more than making a diagnosis.
