Faculty, librarians, and staff/administrators are invited to serve as facilitators for our annual First Year Reading Experience discussions with first-year students on Tuesday, September 5 in the early afternoon following Convocation.
Our 15th book, The Ties that Bind: Stories of Love and Gratitude from the First Ten Years of StoryCorps, celebrates 10 years of the StoryCorp project, collecting stories which highlight the ways in which individuals come together and build life-changing bonds. These stories honor those who give us strength, inspire us, and help us navigate life.
- Sign up to serve as a facilitator on Opening Day
- Provide recommendations or assist with programming throughout the year related to themes of the book
- Indicate interest in incorporating the book into a course populated by first-year students
