Profesor Nancy Schultz will speak at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History’s symposium on Religion in Early America on March 20, 2015 in Washington, D.C. As one of nine invited scholars, she will be on a panel about the diversity of religious traditions in the U.S. A major goal of the symposium is to inform the planning of an exhibition on “Religion in Early America” that is scheduled to open at the museum in 2016. The Smithsonian symposium, led by Dr. Stephen Prothero of Boston University, is open to the public and will be also available via web broadcast.
