Professor Stephenie Young Invited as Senior Visiting Fellow at Jewish Historical Institute

The Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies is pleased to announce that Professor Stephenie Young (English and faculty research associate, CHGS) has been invited as the first senior visiting fellow at the Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw, Poland. Thanks to a generous gift from the Spector-Gardner Family Foundation, Professor Young will spend part of the summer and most of the fall 2019 semester researching and curating a photographic exhibit from the extensive photo collection of the Ringelblum Archive. The archive is one of the largest and most extensive collections of Jewish life, culture and history in the world. The exhibit is planned to premiere in Warsaw and will travel to Salem and other cities in the United States in 2020-2021.
