Dear colleagues,
We are taking very seriously the health and safety of our faculty, staff and students in thoughtfully reviewing our class offerings for the fall semester. Although we had previously been hoping that all course modality updates for the upcoming semester could be completed by June 22, ongoing review of many of our classroom spaces for adjusted capacity limits has meant that we need to take some additional time and care with our schedule adjustments for the fall semester.
Academic affairs has been working tirelessly with the academic departments, deans, facilities, the library, student life, and the registrar’s office to determine availability of classroom space for the fall. We are deeply appreciative of the collaboration of staff and faculty across the campus in coming up with creative solutions for a healthy and safe learning environment.
We anticipate that, with the exception of the School of Nursing, all course updates will be complete by the end of June. The nursing schedule will be finalized as soon as we have more information from our hospital and clinical partners later this summer.
We thank you all for your patience and look forward to welcoming you back to campus in the safest manner possible.
