Salem State uses a student knowledge base, branded Ask the Viking, to document specific how-to information about being a student at the university. You can see the current knowledge base here.
We are currently implementing a new knowledge base system that should simplify the content management process for authors as well as better align with our website search. The new knowledge base should launch on December 16, 2019.
Training and New Users
There are three trainings scheduled for the week of December 10. If your area's roles have shifted and new or different users should have access, please email Anne Collins by Wednesday, November 27 to ensure the new users receive access and an invitation to training.
Register for a session on either Tuesday, 12/10 or Wednesday, 12/11 from 10-11 am in the ITS training room.
Register for a session on Thursday, 12/12 from 10-11 in the HR training room.
