Salem State English Instructor Julie Batten curates folio on Homelessness

Salem State University English instructor Julie Batten is the founding director of the Glass House Shelter Project, a grassroots organization that brings college level reading and writing courses into homeless shelters. Her most recent project is a folio she helped to curate providing a platform for homeless students to tell their stories in the their own voices. 

The Glass House Shelter folio can be found in Drunken Boat 23. Drunken Boat is a free, open access online journal of international literature and arts.
