Salem State University Receives Carnegie Community Engagement Classification

Salem State University is one of the 119 newly and reclassified U.S. colleges and universities to receive a 2020 Carnegie Community Engagement Classification, which indicates significant institutional commitment to community and civic engagement.

Receiving Carnegie Classification puts Salem State among just 26 institutions in Massachusetts with this designation.
