Salem State's Theatre and Speech Communication Department, in conjunction with the Center for Creative and Performing Arts, presents the Fourth Annual Veterans Ten-Minute Play Festival, November 9-11.
Performances take place at 7:30 pm in the Sophia Gordon Center for Creative and Performing Arts rehearsal room. This event is free, but seating is limited so advance reservations are encouraged.
Designated a Military Friendly School by G.I. Jobs, a Top College and University by Military Advanced Education, and a Best for Vets College by Military Times, Salem State values our military connected students, their families and the sacrifices they have made for our country. Salem State is committed to supporting Veterans’ voices on and off campus. The arts create unique and powerful opportunities for individuals and groups to share experiences and constructive dialogue.
The goal of this festival is to cultivate a supportive environment for creative exploration in and around the varied experiences that surround the military. This festival uses theatre to begin a community conversation that builds bridges between the civilian and military worlds.
