School of Nursing Hosts Nationally Recognized Speaker

SALEM, MASS. – Salem State University’s School of Nursing hosted a nationally recognized expert on new nurses’ transitions to practice in November, a speaker who carried on the legacy of a legend in the school’s history.

The School of Nursing welcomed Dr. Geralyn Altmiller to campus Nov. 14 for an event titled “Facilitating a Successful Transition to Practice: the role of practice partners, academic faculty, and learners.”
