Study Abroad Funding Now Available to SSU Students

The department of World Languages and Cultures announces travel funding awards for students to study languages abroad.The department annually awards $500 in travel funds to each student majoring in World Languages and Cultures who studies abroad for a semester or a year (any location), and this year offers ten (10) awards of $250 each for students from any major who study abroad on one of our 6-credit summer immersion programs (Oviedo, Spain; Quebec City, Canada; Sorrento, Italy).

To apply for summer or semester funding, complete your study abroad application with the Center For International Education and then submit a copy of your application and a personal essay about your reasons for studying abroad to the World Languages and Cultures chairperson, Dr. Michele Davila.
