Dr. Jeton Kelmendi (Pristina, Kosovo) and Mr. Bill Wolak (New Jersey, USA) will discuss the complexities of translating poetry.
How are linguistic and cultural nuance translated? How does one carry stylistic devices across languages?
Dr. Kelmendi is an internationally-recognized Albanian language poet whose poetry has been translated into more than 37 languages. Mr. Wolak, poet and translator, is the recipient of numerous awards and has just published his 18th book of poetry.
