Vikings Geology Students and Faculty Attended NEIGC 2024 in Maine

Organized by the Earth Science Association (ESA), students and faculty from SSU’s Geological Sciences program took part in the 115th New England Intercollegiate Geological Conference (NEIGC 2024) in coastal Maine, joining three field trips during the event. This year’s conference attracted 285 attendees, with students making up two-thirds of the participants, representing 21 institutions from New England and beyond.
