Documents you need to complete
Any full-time Salem State University student in good academic standing with a 2.5 minimum cumulative grade point average may apply for exchange. Below are a few of the minimum requirements to participate in National Student Exchange:
- Full-time enrollment at your home campus and completion of one academic year at home institution
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at the time of application and at the completion of the term prior to exchange
- Good standing (academic, judicial, personal, and financial)
- No incomplete grades from previous terms
- Attendance at an NSE Information Session
- Application fee: $250 (non-refundable once student is entered in the NSE Placement database)
The information and forms you need to participate in the NSE
Students will have to complete and submit the information above to the National Student Exchange (NSE) coordinator for review. All documents must be received by the application deadline and prior to placement decisions, held at the National Student Exchange Placement Conference in March 2019. Interviews will be required to ensure that NSE is a good fit for you. Please contact the NSE coordinator for additional information regarding your interest in NSE.
