International Foreign Language Honor Society, Phi Sigma Iota
The foreign languages department joined Phi Sigma Iota, an international honor society, in 2010. Members include undergraduate majors and minors, graduate students in Spanish, and faculty members. New members are recruited by invitation from faculty based on exceptional academic achievement in foreign language study.
