Apply: Graduate Certificate in Public History

Please note: The certificate in public history program does not lead to an academic degree, and students are not eligible for financial aid.

Required Materials

• $50 non-refundable application fee
• Official transcript or transcript evaluation
• Three references
• English Proficiency, if applicable, for international applicants
• Statement of purpose

Deadlines

• Applications accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed once complete.
• The certificate in public history program does not support international students in F or J status due to program modality and/or part-time status. Please contact graduate admissions to verify which programs are suitable.

Concurrent Enrollment

Students currently enrolled in a Salem State graduate program should follow the concurrent enrollment process instead of using the graduate online application.
