Presentation Opportunities
There are numerous conference opportunities to share your research, locally, at the state level, regionally, and nationally. For regional and national presentation opportunities, contact faculty in your discipline to see if presentation opportunities exist for undergraduates in your major. If you are a member of an honor society, these organizations also hold conferences where you may present your work.
In addition, two conference opportunities exist for every student at Salem State University. The Research Day is held each May on Reading Day at the end of the spring semester. The Massachusetts Statewide Undergraduate Research Conference is held on the last Friday in April each year at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Both are great opportunities to share your research or creations with a larger, appreciative audience. Students in the Commonwealth Honors Program may also approach the Honors Program Area Chair about presenting at the National Collegiate Honors Council and the Northeast Regional Honors Council conferences.
