Part-Time Undergraduate

You're currently taking fewer than 12 credits while earning your undergraduate degree. You may be taking classes in the evenings while working a job or caring for your family.

Not Enrolled

If you are not enrolled as a Salem State student, you can learn more about our new student or transfer student experience. We have ten programs geared specifically toward part-time students, including evening and online programs.

Currently Enrolled

If this is your first semester, you'll register for courses as part of orientation. After your first semester, you can register for classes during your enrollment period by signing into Navigator.

Talk to an Advisor

Just like full-time students, part-time students still need to meet with an advisor before registering for classes.

Part-time day students will be assigned a faculty advisor, viewable in Navigator. Part-time evening and online only students should consult with an advisor in either the Center for Academic Excellence or in their academic school (business and education students only.)
