About our Program
Esports refers to the competitive play of video games and encompasses many titles and styles of play. Salem State is offering recreational opportunities in our dedicated Esports lounge, which opened on October 12, 2022.
Ready to take your gaming to the next level?! Join us in the Ellison Campus Center – ECC 010 where state of the art gaming PCs and consoles are waiting for you!
Our space brings students from all majors and backgrounds together to build community and engagement on our campus. Leagues and tournaments provide the opportunity for students to test and hone their skills in an exciting and supportive environment. In addition, opportunities are available to join competitive teams that compete in the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC).
The Esports Lounge was made possible by the generous philanthropy of Kim Gassett-Schiller ’83, ‘18H and Philip Schiller.
