Thanks to the Massachusetts Life Sciences Workforce Development Capitol Grant (MLSC), Salem State University acquired a new Thermo Fischer Axia ChemiSEM Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) with Quasor II EDSB detector in 2022. This state-of-art microscope is incorporated in multiple classes, such as Forensic Microscopy, Earth Materials, as well as faculty and student research projects.
