At the Center for Accessible Academic Resources, our mission is to foster an inclusive and accessible environment for the entire Salem State University community. Through tutoring, supplemental instruction, and tailored support for students with disabilities, we are connecting learners with the tools and resources necessary to achieve their goals and build a foundation for success.

Supplemental Instruction

Supplemental Instruction (SI) sessions are typically peer-led group study sessions for selected courses. The sessions are organized to allow students the opportunity to interact with their classmates as they construct knowledge.

CAAR provides assistance to students and the Salem State community remotely (via Zoom or phone), by appointment, during our regular hours, Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5 pm.
