Senior Week is a week full of fun activities provided for graduating seniors to celebrate their incredible achievements and commemorate their time at Salem State. Events can include a variety of programming both on and off campus, offered at a range of discounted prices for students.
Important Housing Information
If you currently live on campus and wish to remain on campus for Senior Week, you must indicate that you wish to stay by notifying Residence Life via email housing@salemstate.edu.
If you remain on campus for Senior Week, it is important to note that meal plans will end on the last day of finals: Monday, May 12, 2025.
If you remain on campus for Senior Week, you are required to be out of the residence halls no later than the night of your graduation or by 7 pm on Saturday, May 17, 2025. No extensions will be provided.

Grad Cap Decorating Party!
Cost: FREE for all graduating seniors
Location: Alumni Plaza (rain location: Ellison Campus Center)
Join us to decorate your graduation cap with a variety of fun options-- from puff paint, to beads, to feathers, to sticker lettering, and much more! There will be plenty of pizza, an ice cream sundae bar, and a 360-photo experience! Be sure to grab a commemorative SSU Class of 2025 etched glass before you go!

Deep Sea Fishing With The Dean!
Cost: $10/graduating senior
Try your luck on the open ocean and experience deep sea fishing alongside Associate Dean, John Silveria! Transportation will be provided from Central Campus to Gloucester Harbor and back. Depart campus at 7:15 am and arrive back at 12:30 pm. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity!

Senior Awards!
Location: Peabody Essex Museum
Applications are now open for the 2025 Senior Awards! This honor is available to all 2025 graduating seniors. Share your accomplishments by applying to be recognized at the award ceremony—applications can be found here.

Mahi Mahi Senior Cruise!
Cost: $10/graduating senior
Cruise around the Salem Harbor with friends as we celebrate the graduating class of 2025! Food, DJ and dance floor, photo booth, and 2 cash bars await you on Salem's own Hannah Glover cruise ship. Transportation will be provided to and from Harrington Campus!
Thursday, May 15
Senior Farewell BBQ & Beer Truck!
Cost: $5/graduating senior, $8/guest
Location: North Campus Quad (rain location: Lower North Dining)
A toast to the graduates! Raise your glass to the Class of 2025 as we send you off with a party! Lawn games, tons of BBQ lunch options, music, a beer truck, and a farewell toast from Dean Newton and President Keenan. Seniors will be allowed to bring up to 2 guests to this event to help celebrate. Celebrate with us one last time before graduation!
Ticket Information
The Senior Week Ticket Launch event will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 10 am-3 pm in the Ellison Campus Center.
Food will be available along with a 2025 photo booth, and the first 150 seniors will receive a commemorative Class of 2025 t-shirt!
Seniors may select any number of events to attend; ticketed events are first-come-first-served.
Tickets are non-refundable and may not be exchanged or transferred between students.
Tickets will continue to be available following this event (until sold out) at the Ellison Campus Center Info Desk.
